A Record is the online data representing the all lockout data for a piece of equipment.  Records are identified by LP#.

ID# (LP#)

Records are identified by LP# which stands for Lockout Procedure #.  Each job starts with LP1001 and goes up.  There can be gaps in these numbers as records are added and/or deleted during the procedure writing process. This is the record identifying number our system uniquely creates for each record.

Customer ID

This number is your company’s internal scheme to mark and/or track equipment.  This could be your Asset #, Equipment #, or another software number like a CMMS number.

Record Status (Web)

Status indicates what has happened with the Record at any given time.  They are:

  • N/A: No procedure written.
  • Pending: This will send all online data and pictures back to the tablet for that specific record.
  • Ready: Record has procedure written and data has been transferred from the tablet to the web.
  • Delete: Record/Equipment has been removed and needs deleted from the record list. There should be a Note as to why this procedure has been set to delete.  This is general used by Martin Technical LOTO technicians.
  • Generated: A Report (word document) of the procedure has been created.
  • Completed: A Report (word document) of the procedure has been finalized and uploaded back to the web.
